Transitioning from serving the needy to teaching the leaders. 

Upon returning to Manila, David led seminars at the Alliance Seminary in Manila and had the opportunity to meet with some of the key organizers of the upcoming General Assembly.

Our ministry partner from Edmonton, Tony Tira and his family greeted us warmly.

General Assembly

At General Assembly 2025 over 4000 pastors and leaders from across the country gathered for a week-long meeting.  The organizers did an exceptional job of weaving their theme Empowering the Generations throughout each day of the assembly. On many occasions, delegates wore their traditional clothing.  These were beautiful!

 Bishop Eduardo has lead the Alliance in the Philippines for 3 terms.  This year's assembly was an election year so there were important votes to tally along with other essential business matters to oversee. We found out later that Bishop Eduardo has read and actively shares teaching from  Hey! Are You There? It's me-GOD.

As we said goodbye, we spent time with some of the incredible Alliance workers. They are active in 19 countries, planting churches and meeting needs.
